The Family Room sits on the ground floor at the back of the property, which makes it the quietest room at Lakeview Motor Inn. A queen bed and a single, a kitchenette with fridge and microwave for the food that does not survive a motel without one, and a bathroom with a shower over the bath.
Park at the door, walk the bags in, let the kids run to the saltwater pool. Belmont Baths, Blacksmiths Beach and the Fernleigh Track are all within five minutes, and the lake is directly across the road.
There is no balcony and no lake outlook here — that is exactly why it is quiet. Guests staying near John Hunter Hospital, working away, or travelling with a light sleeper should start with this room.

Saltwater, in the grounds behind the front block, away from the road. There is no lifeguard — children need an adult with them.

Getting out
Flat lake water across the road, patrolled surf five minutes east, and a sealed rail trail five minutes north.
