Accessibility

Accessibility, and where the photographs come from.

Two things worth being explicit about.

This website

We have built this site to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. In practice that means: text and background colours meet contrast requirements, every interactive element has a visible keyboard focus indicator, the site is navigable by keyboard alone, headings run in a logical order, images carry descriptive alternative text, and no information is conveyed by colour alone — the room quiet-ratings, for example, carry a shape and a word as well as a colour.

Animation is disabled automatically if your device is set to reduce motion.

If something on this site does not work for you, please tell us — email Bookings@lakeviewmotorinn.com.au or call (02) 4945 2847 and we will fix it and help you directly in the meantime.

The property

Accessibility at the motel itself is covered on our accessible accommodation page. The short version: there are no lifts, there are ground-floor rooms with parking at the door, and you should call us before booking.

Photographs of the motel

All photographs of Lakeview Motor Inn on this site are the property’s own. There are not many of them, and we would rather show you a small number of real photographs than fill the site with borrowed interiors that show somewhere else. A proper photo shoot is planned.

Photographs of the area

Photographs labelled nearby show the named places around Belmont and Lake Macquarie. They are not photographs of this motel and are never presented as such. They come from Wikimedia Commons under free licences (Creative Commons Attribution, Attribution-ShareAlike, CC0 and public domain). The places shown are:

Full per-image attribution, including author and licence for each file, is maintained with the site source. If you are the photographer of any image here and would like the credit adjusted or the image removed, contact Bookings@lakeviewmotorinn.com.au and we will act promptly.
