Across Tripadvisor, Trip.com and Google, the word that recurs is clean — the room, the bathroom, the linen. Housekeeping is daily and it is not negotiable.

Free, on site, right outside the room. It matters at 9 pm off the highway with a boot full of gear, and again at 5 am when you leave.

The rooms at the front have the balcony and the lake outlook. The rooms at the back are quiet. Guests have been telling each other this in reviews for years, so we have put it on the website properly — a plan of the property, a quiet rating on every room, and two questions that point you at the right one.
